Thank you for not including the bit about the woman in the woods in The Bar Harbor Story. But also... I am glad you wrote about it. I am not sure what she could imagine that she would accomplish when the school was in lock down. and of course... she was endangering herself to an extreme end. I was called out of my locked office to help the PD with our camera system and it was amazing to see how they had created a perimeter around the school and how they were working together.
Such a scary experience. It happened to us when my eldest daughter was in high school; ultimately, all was well (even though a gun was found), but we'll never forget it. This world, sigh. But you're right: we can try.
Something was different. It was the school busses...not in their usual places...
