On the podcast this week, we talked about how character and story structure are melded together like Kim K and Peter Davidson’s lips.

But I also wanted to quickly talk about the three basic ways your character changes during the story.

They call this character arcs, but I don’t like the term arc because even though it’s with a c, it reminds me of Noah and the massive flood where almost all of life on Earth was wiped out and that is the kind of stuff that gives me nightmares and daymares, honestly.
