Me:
Pogie: Seriously.
Me:
Pogie: It isn't about success, about always getting the biggest cookie or having the loudest bark.
Me: I do not have the loudest bark.
Pogie: It doesn't matter.
Me: I definitely do not have the biggest cookie.
Pogie: Also doesn't matter.
Me: Sigh.
Pogie: NO SIGHING! Look at you! Look. At. You. You love a fantastic dog--cough--you have people who live in the same house as you who hug you and make you coffee. All the other barkers out there? All that pressure you put on your own self? Doesn't matter.
Me: It feels like it matters sometimes.

Me:
Pogie: Seriously, human. You need to learn this. It is your relationships, the love you give, the kindness. That's what matters. Plus, belly rubs. Always belly rubs.
