Me: Yes.

Pogie: I love you.

Me:

Pogie: A lot.

Me: Pogie, I love you so much, too.

Pogie: And that's what's important, right? That we can love each other? And that we can mess up and get cranky and occasionally not hand out enough treats but still love each other.

Me: Did you chase Cloud the Cat again?

Pogie: No. But I watched when L the Cat did.

Me:

Pogie:

Me: I absolutely still love you. Now let's go find Cloud and make sure she's okay.

Pogie: Because that's what love is about? Forgiveness and taking care of each other.

Me: It's a good part of it, yeah.

Pogie: Cool. Cool. So, let me tell you about the screen door. . . .
