Did you know that when Joseph Priestley discovered seltzer, his scientific publication about it was called “Directions for Impregnating Water With Fixed Air?”

The point here is that weirdness is pretty normal and the standard for it? It changes throughout time. Like, people once thought sleeping with their dogs was weird. Some people still do!

Anyway, the point here is that labels change, insults change, societal definitions and norms change.
