Me: Em and I were talking about you, Mr. Murph.
Mr. Murph: Good things?
Me: Of course!
Mr. Murph: Tell me! Tell me!
Me: We were talking about how when the rescue had you, you couldn't go to the adoption events at PetCo and how you'd shake and shake and try to hide in the back of your kennel.
Mr. Murphy: It was too much.
Me:
Mr. Murphy: It was a bad time. I didn't like one Uber driver in DC either. He scared me. And the elevators. Or being in a crate alone all day when my last humans worked--the humans before the rescue.
Me: You poor honey.
Mr. Murphy: It was too much.
Me:
Mr. Murphy:
Me: You never shake here.
Mr. Murphy: Here is not too much. We all deserve places that are not too much.
Me: Unless it's too much love.
Mr. Murphy: It's never too much of that.
