Me: What's wrong, Mr. Murphy?
Mr. Murphy: I don't want to say.
Me: Why not?
Mr. Murphy: You'll think I'm being negative.
Me: Mr. Murphy. You're allowed to have your feelings.
Mr. Murphy:
Me: Really, bud.
Mr. Murphy: Sometimes, it's frustrating realizing that people are so set in their ways that they don't pivot toward something cooler and better quality, something where people actually care about other people, something where . . . They just get used to the same old, same old. And sometimes they don't even realize that they have a choice.
Me:
Mr. Murphy:
Me: Yeah, I get that.
Mr. Murphy:
Me: Oh! You want better snacks?
Mr. Murphy: You are a very trainable human.
We hope you all get good snacks, today, better snacks, and that you chose them yourself and that you know that you deserve them, too.
