Poet Tim Seibles said, “Our lives are worth every risk, every manner of approach.”

Most stories in our culture right now follow two main structures:

  • The three-act story (beginning and middle and end)

  • Save the Cat structure

  • The hero’s journey

But there are all sort of different structures out there. I’m going to talk about the six-act structure (and have a place to submit and writing exercise about red herrings) below the paywall, okay?

Just eight more days of these daily posts! I hope you all are learning things! And finding places to submit! And having fun? It’s all over on this tab on the main site if you’ve missed any.

If there is something you’d like me to hit on, please let me know, okay?
