Are you all ready?

For 28 days this month we are all going to take 5-10 minutes and write.

It might suck

It might be amazing.

But for at least those minutes of our day. We’re going to learn and write and do.

We will be writers.

How cool is that?

And we’re going to do that through a series of prompts (exercises, ideas—whatever word you like) that will hopefully set us free a bit in real life and on the page.

There will also be some playlists to write to and some places to submit.

That’s for paid subscribers only.

But each post will also have a quick writing hint that everyone can see.

For those of you who do not want a daily post for February. I’m so sorry! You can ignore me for a month (or you can choose to ONLY subscribe to Living Happy rather than both LIVING HAPPY and its sub-publication WRITE BETTER NOW).

OK? Let’s go.

QUICK WRITING TIP-WRITE IN YOUR OWN VOICE

And if we try to write like AI or Cabot or Martin we become same-old-same-old, inauthentic. Not who you really are.

Your voice on the page, the style of writing, the words you choose, the sentences you make? Those come from who you are: your passions, your experiences, your culture, your hopes, your worries.

It is up to you to be generous and show that to the world, okay? It’s up to you to be brave and show that to the world.

Here is an exercise to help:
