Cloud and her New Bear

Cloud the Cat got a package via Amazon.

In it, was a white polar bear that looks a lot like Gabby.

For those of you who don't know, Gabby Dog died a couple of years ago and Gabby was Cloud's best friend. Gabby was big and fluffy and white.

Since then, Cloud has tried to get close with all the other furry animals in the house, but none are Gabby, and so she cuddles with white things (pillows and stuffed animals and Christmas decorations).

Now, because someone has been super kind. She has a new cuddle buddy. She's a bit obsessed with it. She carried it into the kitchen yesterday like it was a baby, but she did not pause for a photo and I was too busy gasping at how she didn't trip.

Here's the thing: There are endless possibilities when you use your abilities to help others. You create ripples of kindness and goodness. Maybe lean into that. I know I'm going to try to.

You've got this. We've got this, okay?

Lean toward good.

And thank you so much to whoever was so kind to us and Cloud. She loves her new bear.
