When trying to find photos from 2016 (Yes, I tried the trend. I’m currently failing at it.), I found my JUDY BLUME Diary from fifth grade.
It’s half used.
It’s in magic marker.
It’s sort of sad because I tried to have fancy writing with those magic markers like they were calligraphy pens.
But it made me think a lot about journals (not diaries) and how some authors do so well with them.
My version? It’s basically to-do lists, angry poems in one document on my computer and I used to have these daily affirmations, what-I-want focus sentences.
