Hi, everyone!

I’ve been thinking a lot about this Substack and what I’d like it to be, which is:

  1. A place for community, where people in various stage of their writing lives support each other.

  2. Fun.

  3. A place where people get to learn tools and random things about writing.

Fun? Community? Learning writing tools?

I know! I know. Wildness.

Recently, Substack featured a really cool space by an artist where she’s built something like this—only for art. And that’s what I’m going to partial model this on but for writing and for living happy and those intersections, too.

Hopefully, this will be cool and you’ll be into it. I’m terrified it won’t be cool, but I am just so excited about the possibility. This, of course, makes me think of that Georgia O’Keefe quote….

The first step for this is going to begin in February where I’ll post quick daily writing prompts for paid members for the month. The members will be able to share and support each other in a chat (if they are into it).

Basically, I’d love for Write Better Now and Living Happy to be a place that helps us all write a bit more confidently and joyfully while also building community.

And I’m going to share twice a week regularly (one paid post, one free post) while building out those community tools, too.

And beyond this paywall are some thoughts about writing with the senses (plus links) a quick exercise, and Spotify playlist I made for you to write to.
