I’ve been thinking a bit over the holidays about past things I’ve told authors to help them keep their books from being . . . from being . . . well, boring. From being boring.

A lot of those hints have to do with two things:

  • conflict

  • care

You have to have your readers CARE about what happens to the characters next and there has to be some sort of CONFLICT to keep your readers wondering. So, let’s get into it, okay?
