A lot of people think that writing in the present tense makes English grammar simpler. That’s because when we write in the present tense, we tend to only use simple present tense or present progressive tense. The podcast and last WRITE BETTER NOW post is about those positive and negatives about writing in each tense. You can read or listen to that here. But I wanted to explain a tiny bit more about those tenses.
When we inch out of those two tenses, we journey into the land of simple past tense or simple future tense.
And when we write in present tense we usually don’t have to worry about future perfect, past perfect or that heathen past progressive.
